Valletta

Valletta, the capital city, which is a World’s heritage city, was built by the knights of the Order of St. John during the 16th century. The tour will start with a panoramic drive around the walled city Valletta, in order to see the fortifications and the two natural harbours which surround the city. We will walk through the main streets of Valletta, where you can admire historical buildings built by the Order of St. John, including the Auberges and the Grandmaster’s Palace. We will visit the Upper Barrakka Gardens, which offer stunning view of the Grand harbour and the St. John’s Cathedral, where among various treasures we can admire the paintings by Caravaggio.

Marsaxlokk fishing village

Here we will have some time to admire this lovely fishing village, with its traditional colourful boats. We will also have ample time to stroll along the market, which sets up daily along the promenade.

Blue Grotto

Our tour will continue to the Blue Grotto, where we will first stop to admire the stunning view of the Grotto from the top and will continue with an optional boat trip to all the caves, including the Blue Grotto (weather permitting).

Hagar Qim Temple

This temple dates back to 3300 BC. The tour will proceed with a guided tour of the visitor’s centre and the temple.  Malta’s Megalithic temples are considered to be among the oldest freestanding temples in the world.

Mdina

The old capital city of Malta. We will walk through the city to admire its mix of Medieval and Baroque architecture and a stunning view from the bastions, overlooking almost half of Malta.
